DEMO What can you tell with blocks?
From one prompt
to a short film.
These three films are a demonstration of storytelling in Blockyland: two old fables and a math lesson, and the next one could be about anything. Each began as a single written request. Claude Opus 5.5, Anthropic’s AI model, then wrote the screenplay, cast the voices, built the sets, directed the actors and cameras, and composed the music, all inside the game’s own engine with the same blocks and characters you play with.
Watch a film below, then open “See the prompt” to read exactly what was asked for. All of the code Claude wrote is open on GitHub.
THE DEMO FILMS
Any story, told in blocks.
What the demo shows
- StoryA screenplay with a clear arc and motivated characters, whether it ends on a moral or a proof, in Chinese and English.
- VoicesA distinct neural voice for every character. Questions rise like questions, and no line is rushed.
- ActingExpressive pixel faces, lip-sync, blinking, and bodies that walk, kneel, sit and carry.
- Sets & modelsFarms, a workshop, a storybook frontier and block-built math models, all from the game’s own blocks.
- CinematographyShot lists, reaction close-ups, dissolves through time, seasons, sunsets and lighting moods.
- SoundAn original pentatonic score that follows the story, plus footsteps, hooves, birds and crickets.
